The Challenge

FinchPay, a consumer payments app, was burning through paid install budgets with a 7% activation rate. Installs were expensive, and most users churned before completing a single transaction. The team needed a demand channel that didn't rely on outbidding competitors for the same ad inventory.

Our Solution

We built a trust-led content engine around the financial questions FinchPay's users actually ask — saving, splitting bills, building credit — published as both long-form articles and short social explainers.

Alongside it, we launched a creator program with 14 personal-finance creators, each vetted for audience fit. Rather than generic shoutouts, creators walked through real workflows using the app, which drove installs that activated at a far higher rate.

We paired this with a paid amplification layer that boosted only the top-performing organic assets, stretching the budget rather than paying to acquire cold impressions.

The Results

App installs doubled in six months, but the headline number is activation: it rose 96% because the new traffic arrived already warm and informed. Paid install spend fell 35% as organic and referral channels picked up the load.

The creator relationships now produce a recurring content cadence at a fraction of the cost of equivalent paid reach.
