The Challenge

Halcyon, a premium home-essentials brand, had grown into a range of unrelated product lines that all looked and sounded different. Conversion had been declining for two quarters, average order value was flat, and customers couldn't describe what the brand stood for in a single sentence.

Our Solution

We ran a positioning sprint that sharpened Halcyon around a single idea — 'considered essentials for the home you actually live in' — and built a messaging hierarchy the whole team could use across product, marketing, and support.

From there we designed a visual and verbal identity system with rules for typography, colour, photography, and copy, so every touchpoint from packaging to ad creative finally looked like one brand.

We rolled the new system out across the site, product pages, and ad creative in a coordinated six-week sprint, with A/B tests to measure the impact on conversion.

The Results

Conversion rose 148% in the eight weeks after launch, and average order value grew 62% as the clearer positioning made it easier for the right buyers to say yes. Post-purchase surveys showed brand recall doubled to 2.4x.

The identity system now lets the team launch new products and campaigns in days rather than weeks, without the brand drifting apart again.
