Most people who want to write songs do not lack ideas — they lack a way to finish them. This small-group workshop (six writers maximum) is built around the discipline of completion. Each cycle you bring a fragment, a verse, or a half-finished chorus, and you leave with something you could play for someone.
We work on lyric, melody, and structure in equal measure. We are not precious about genre — folk, pop, indie, and devotional songwriting all have a home here. What we are precise about is the craft: does this line earn its place? Does this melody serve the words? Is the chorus doing its job?
How it runs
- Small group — six writers, one facilitator, ninety minutes
- Weekly prompts and a shared writing practice between sessions

- Basic home-recording guidance so you can capture a demo
- An end-of-cycle showcase at the studio for those who want to perform
