The violin rewards patience more than almost any instrument, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we will promise is that the work is worth it. The first time your bow moves and a clean, singing note comes out, you understand why people choose this difficult, beautiful thing.
Our approach is classical in foundation but not rigid in spirit. We begin with posture — how to hold the instrument without gripping it — and the bow hold that will, over months, become invisible. Tone production comes early, because a violinist who can make a good sound will want to keep playing.
