Salt & Sand

Salt & Sand is where the day winds down — a low-slung beach bar of driftwood and hammocks, a few steps from the water. The afternoon crowd comes for coffee and banana fritters; the evening crowd for the sunset ritual.

On the Menu

The bar specialises in island drinks: passionfruit spritz, tamarind margarita, coconut toddy from the mainland's coastal groves, and a rum punch that has developed something of a reputation. Small plates cover ceviches, skewers, and crab-and-coconut rolls.

Families are welcome until 9:00 PM, after which the bar becomes adults-only and the volume comes down to the sea's level.
