Good to know
Adoption with us is free — we just need the right home. Every animal is vaccinated, dewormed, and, where age-appropriate, sterilised before rehoming. You cover your own ongoing costs: food, annual vet visits, and the unexpected.
Yes. Most of our dogs and all of our cats do perfectly well in flats. We'll talk through your space, your work hours, and any existing pets to find the right match — a high-energy puppy and a tiny studio are a harder fit than a calm senior.
You send an enquiry, we have a phone conversation, then a meet-and-greet at the shelter or the foster home. If it's a fit, you take the animal home on a two-week trial. We follow up at one week, one month, and three months. Most adoptions take 2–4 weeks from first contact.
Absolutely — fosters are the backbone of our work. Fostering is time-boxed (a post-op dog, a kitten litter) and we supply food, medicines, and vet support. Orientation is every Saturday at 10 AM. See the volunteer page.
Call our helpline on +91 20 4455 6677 (9 AM – 9 PM daily) or message us on WhatsApp. If it is safe, move the animal to shade and keep people and dogs away. Do not give food or water to an injured animal without our advice — it can complicate anaesthesia if surgery is needed.
We handle domestic animals — dogs, cats, and the occasional rabbit or bird. For snakes, monkeys, and larger wildlife we direct you to the Forest Department. For a human emergency, call 112.
Still unsure? Write to us — we answer every message.
