What 'foster fail' really means (and why we love it)

Foster fails aren't a failure — they're the gentlest path to adoption there is.

A 'foster fail' is when a foster carer falls for the animal in their care and decides to adopt. The rescue world jokes about it, but it's the outcome we want most — a slow, honest match with no surprises.

Why it works

You've already lived together. You know the animal sleeps through the night (or doesn't), tolerates your cat (or doesn't), and fits your life (or doesn't). Adoption is not a gamble; it's a confirmation.

So if you're fostering and thinking about keeping them — talk to us. We'll make it official.
