PRP uses growth factors concentrated from your own blood to nudge miniaturised follicles back toward productive growth. It is the backbone of our non-surgical hair programme for both men and women.
The session, step by step
- 20 ml of blood is drawn and spun in a double-spin centrifuge
- Platelet-rich plasma is extracted — typically 5–7 ml of golden serum
- The scalp is numbed with a topical + ring block for comfort
- PRP is injected 1 cm apart across thinning zones (not the whole scalp)
Evidence & expectations
- Best for early-to-moderate androgenetic thinning and post-partum shedding
- Shedding slows by session 2–3; baby-fine regrowth appears around month 3
- Standard course: 4 sessions monthly, then quarterly maintenance
- Works alongside medical therapy (minoxidil, finasteride) — not instead of it
Mild scalp tightness for a day is the only common after-effect.
