How to Choose a Wedding Date That Works For Everyone

Every couple asks it early: when should we get married? Here's the framework we use with our own clients.

1. Start with season, not date

In most of India, November–February offers the kindest weather but the highest demand. March and October give you pleasant days at gentler prices. Monsoon weddings are stunning and underrated — if you pick venues with covered options.

2. Layer in the auspicious windows

If muhurat dates matter to your families, shortlist three acceptable windows rather than one date. It transforms negotiations with venues and vendors.

3. Check your guests' reality

Exam calendars, fiscal year-ends, school holidays. For destination weddings, give guests at least five months' notice with a save-the-date.

4. Protect your own energy

Don't schedule your wedding the week of a product launch or final exams. You want to be present, not splitting focus.
