Recruits, trains and supports foster homes so no recovering animal waits in a kennel alone.
A kennel is not a home. Our foster network places recovering animals — post-surgery, neonatal, or just stressed — in real homes while they heal or wait for adoption. We supply food, medicines, and a vet on call; you supply the room and the patience.
Foster vs adopt
Fostering is temporary and time-boxed: a post-op dog for six weeks, a litter of kittens until they're weaned. Many of our fosters choose to adopt — we call those 'foster fails' and we love them.
How to start
Orientation runs every Saturday at 10 AM at the shelter campus. No experience needed. We match the animal to your home, your hours, and your existing pets. Use the form below and we'll be in touch.
