Kathak

Kathak is the storytelling tradition of North India — a nomadic art that found its home in the Mughal courts. We teach the Lucknow gharana, where rhythmic footwork (tatkar), lightning spins (chakkars) and improvisational layakari meet the emotive power of abhinaya. Dancers learn to compose rhythm in real time.
