Dr. Anita Rao founded Greenleaf Family Clinic in 2012 with a simple belief: that the family doctor should know the whole person, not just the chart. Over eighteen years of practice across Pune's community clinics, she has cared for three generations of the same families — immunising the grandchildren of patients she first saw as interns.

Her special interest is preventive and lifestyle medicine: helping patients manage blood pressure, early diabetes and weight concerns through small, sustainable changes rather than shortcuts. She is known for sitting with a new patient for a full fifteen minutes the first time, and for never rushing a worried parent.

Dr. Rao oversees the clinic's chronic care programme and mentors the younger physicians on the team. She consults in English, Hindi and Marathi.
