Coronary Angioplasty & Stenting
Balloon + stent treatment for blocked heart arteries via a small wrist puncture.
A tiny balloon is inflated inside the narrowed artery and a mesh stent is placed to keep it open. Done through the wrist with local anaesthesia; most patients are up and walking in 24 hours.
Our cath lab runs 24Γ7 for heart-attack patients, with door-to-balloon time under 60 minutes β well inside the international 90-minute benchmark. Families watch the live angiogram with the cardiologist and leave with a printed CD and a clear plan for medications and rehab.
