A Food Lover's Guide to Our Coastal Kitchen
15 Mar 2026
From morning appam to midnight prawn ghee roast β what's unmissable at our all-day coastal restaurant.
Our coastal kitchen is the heart of Seaside Haven. It opens before sunrise with appam and stew for early walkers, hums through the afternoon with rawa-fried fish, and stays open late for the prawn ghee roast that guests still talk about at checkout.
Chef's must-try list
- Morning: appam with veg stew or Kerala egg roast, and filter coffee on the sea deck
- Afternoon: Goan fish thali β rawa-fried chonak, kokum curry, kismur and steamed rice
- Evening: recheado prawns or murgh cafreal with poi, plus a chilled cashew feni sour
- Late night: prawn ghee roast with neer dosa β available in-room till 11 pm
Beyond Goan
Not in the mood for spice? The menu also does a clean continental breakfast, wood-fired pizzas, and a Jain-friendly thali on request. Kids get their own menu β mac and cheese, but with a Goan kokum twist if they're adventurous. Our chef trained in coastal Udupi and spent five seasons in Goa's shack kitchens before heading our pass.
Good food here doesn't shout. The curry is balanced, the fish is fresh that morning, and the sol kadhi comes with a little story about the kokum.
All meals can be served at the restaurant, by the pool, or in your room β and yes, we pack a breakfast box if you're leaving before the kitchen opens for that sunrise flight. Vegetarian, vegan and allergy-friendly options are clearly marked, and our team is happy to customise spice levels.
Reserve a beachfront table at sunset and we'll keep the fairy lights on a little longer for you.
