Rain is usually in short, dramatic bursts with plenty of clear windows in between — enough for a pool dip, a scooter ride to the white church on the hill, or a chai at the beach shack that never really closes. Our team tracks the forecast and suggests the best time for outdoor plans each morning.

Pack a light rain jacket, not an umbrella — you'll want your hands free for crab-spotting along the bunds.
