What is included in the monthly fee?
Stay, meals (3+2), laundry, personal care, nurse rounds, vitals, activities. Doctor consultation and medicines extra — billed actuals, no markup. We share the bill with notes, not just totals.
Can we visit anytime?
09:00–19:00 daily — no appointment. Night stays need prior word for the bed. Video calls at fixed evening slots — 18:30 to 19:30 — so the day isn’t interrupted. You can also take your parent out for a day — just inform the nurse by 10 am.
How is medical emergency handled?
Doctor on call, nurse on wing, oxygen and vitals on site, ambulance tie-up 8 minutes away with Manipal Whitefield. Family called before ambulance moves — we conference, then move. Emergency contacts printed on the bedside card.
Is there a lock-in period?
No. Notice one month — or adjust to short stay (₹1,800 / day). We also offer 15-day trial living at studio rate to decide slowly. If you leave early, we refund pro-rata, no questions.
Do you handle dementia care?
Yes — Sahay Cottage with secure tulsi garden, validation therapy, family education fortnightly. Not a locked ward — open and attended. Colour cues, scent cues, same chair and raga daily. Ratio 1:4 in cottage.
Can we bring own doctor or outside food?
Yes — own doctor can visit, we share vitals and diet chart and follow their notes. Outside food allowed if diet-compliant — we just note it in the register so nurse knows salt/sugar.
What about festivals and food habits?
We ask at admission — which festival matters, what food is non-negotiable, what time tea is. Kitchen cooks what the festival needs — modak, biryani, payasam — not a common sweet. The home adjusts to the person.
