Nursing & 24Γ—7 Clinical

Nurse station in the wing β€” not down the corridor. Call bell answered in 90 seconds.

Nurse checking blood pressure of elderly resident

Clinical when needed, gentle always. The bay is on the wing, not at the end of a long corridor. Registers checked at 10 pm daily, vitals twice, doctor on call and rounds Tuesday and Friday.

On site

  • Qualified nurses β€” verified, trained in geriatric care, ratio 1:6 on days, 1:10 nights
  • Vital cart, oxygen, nebuliser, ECG β€” not a hospital, but ready
  • Tie-up with Manipal Whitefield β€” ambulance 8 minutes, family called before ambulance moves
  • Medication ledger β€” dose, time, sign β€” shared with family weekly

Not cold

Ward-like safety, home-like warmth. Protocols that don’t shout. Call bell is by the pillow and by the toilet. Light on dim if she likes it that way.

Protocols that don’t shout β€” care that is there before it is asked for.
