Clinical when needed, gentle always. The bay is on the wing, not at the end of a long corridor. Registers checked at 10 pm daily, vitals twice, doctor on call and rounds Tuesday and Friday.

- Qualified nurses — verified, trained in geriatric care, ratio 1:6 on days, 1:10 nights
- Vital cart, oxygen, nebuliser, ECG — not a hospital, but ready
- Tie-up with Manipal Whitefield — ambulance 8 minutes, family called before ambulance moves
- Medication ledger — dose, time, sign — shared with family weekly
Not cold
Ward-like safety, home-like warmth. Protocols that don’t shout. Call bell is by the pillow and by the toilet. Light on dim if she likes it that way.
