Not at all. Most of our first-time guests arrive with no background. We begin with a short consultation — a few questions about sleep, digestion and daily rhythm — and choose oils, pressure and pace accordingly. Therapists explain each step as they go, and you can ask to pause or adjust at any time.

Wear soft cotton that you don't mind getting a little oily, even though we drape carefully. We provide disposable undergarments, head wraps and towels. Avoid heavy perfume. Bring a hair tie if you need it, and come with a light stomach — at least an hour after a full meal.

Ten minutes is perfect. You'll be offered cumin-coriander tea, a brief check-in and time to change. Arriving rushed keeps the nervous system in “go” — a short, unhurried start makes the therapy land much better.

Some are, some aren't. Gentle foot and shoulder work and sound baths can be lovely in pregnancy, but abdominal work, strong heat and certain herbs are avoided. If you are pregnant, managing a heart condition, diabetes, thyroid concerns or skin sensitivities, please note it when you book — Dr. Anandi will advise before we confirm.

Both. Single sessions are ideal for a weekly reset — book Abhyanga, Shirodhara or Stone Therapy à la carte. Multi-day retreats (our 3-day Panchakarma and Forest Reset Weekend) bundle therapies, meals, yoga and a take-home kit with daily physician guidance. See Therapies or enquire for dates.

Up to 24 hours before your slot: free reschedule or full refund. Within 24 hours, we charge 50% as the therapist's time is reserved. For retreats, cancellations 7+ days before start are refunded minus a small processing fee; within 7 days we offer transfer to the next batch.
